One thing my husband and I didn’t think was immediately possible was buying a home, yet we dreamed of doing just that; especially when our little girl came into our lives. There was no doubt in our minds we needed to give up the renting game and make our dreams a reality! It wasn’t an easy process to start. Some of the first realtors we spoke with made the dream seem nearly impossible with many requirements to slow us down, leaving us feeling confused as if there would be a very long wait and a lot of hard work before we could even consider taking on a life long commitment to buying. She never wasted our time with anything that wasn’t worth the mention and always seemed to think in sync with us when we came across not so desirable houses. This also applies for when we finally found our family home. The moment we walked in the door we were all in sync that this was THE ONE! This was in fact the second house we made an offer on, but definitely “Second the Best” (we were glad we didn’t get our first choice)! Laurie worked especially hard for us to make sure we secured this home. When we made our offer she also wrote a personal note introducing us as a family to the seller. As this was our first time closing on a house we were unsure what to expect but Laurie maintained a constant line of contact and was in touch often to keep us updated on everything. This left my husband and I feeling very secure on our journey to owning. They always say people enter your life for a reason, and I believe Laurie was meant to find us our home. I am so extremely grateful she reached out to us and that I didn’t let my skepticism stop us from meeting her. I would happily recommend her to anyone looking into buying.
